The 2011 DPRK Amateur Golf Open took place on the 29th April 2011. The event was played by competitors from 8 different nations. Gross winner was 25 year old Finn, Olli Lehtonen (hcp 1.1) whilst overall winner was 31 year old Johannes Raitio (hcp 9.4), also from Finland
The 2012 tournament took place from the 20th-22nd May 2012. Competitors from 8 different nations took part. The winner was 34 year old Simon Jones from the UK.
The 2013 tournament took place between the 25th and 27th May 2013. Five different nations took part and the winner was 28 year old Peter Clark from New Zealand (hcp 22)
The 2014 tournament took place between the 27th and 28th July 2014. Seven different nations took part. The overall winner and also best gross score was 71 year old Nobuaki Kashara from Japan (hcp 14). 2nd place was Pak Yong Nam (DPRK) and 3rd place Brian Marsden (UK)
The 2015 tournament took place between the 6th and 7th September 2015. Eleven different nations took part. The overall winner and also best gross score was German's Claudio Consul who also broke the course record with a gross score of 71.
The 2016 tournament took place between the 8th and 9th October 2016. Eighteen different nations took part. The overall winner a was Poland's Lukasz Tomiewicz.
